Sweet Sardinia was born from a very simple idea: let’s put our house for rent on the internet and give everyone the chance to experience a holiday in Sardinia just as we live it.

Then, as you know, things sometimes get a little out of hand and I decided to create a real portal where I provide information from a local’s perspective.

The house is a two-story house. On the first floor there is a garden with barbecue, external shower and internal parking.

There is also an open space living room-kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom with two beds (bunk bed). From the door-window of the kitchen, it is possible to access a porch where you can eat outside in the evening.

On the first floor there is a bathroom, the double bedroom and the laundry room.

Both the living room-kitchen and the two bedrooms have air conditioning with heat pump.

There are 6 beds available, divided as follows:

• 2 in the master bedroom on the first floor;
• 2 in the room on the ground floor in the bunk bed;
• 2 on the sofa bed in the living room.

The bathrooms, as I said, are two. One on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Both have showers plus there is an outdoor shower in the garden.

Our house is very clean and suitable for a family with children, an engaged couples or a group of friends.

During the day you can explore the pristine beaches and, in the evening, relax with a barbecue in the garden eating under our patio. Good food, good wine, good company.

Our house is located in the small town of Olia Speciosa (Castiadas) in the south east of Sardinia.
It is about 10 minutes by car from some of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia.

The beauty of this area is that it is not possible to build on the coast, so it remains untouched and pristine. The beaches are almost all free, apart from rare cases for a fee. The small town of Olia Speciosa has all the services: supermarkets, small local fruit sellers, pizzeria and a couple of restaurants and a pub (beer is the most important thing for me 😍🍺).

It is an ideal place for families with children, crime is non-existent and children can walk peacefully down the street or go downtown to play in the playground.

All around the area is free and uncontaminated and often (especially in low season) the deers come down from the mountains to roam freely on the road. The parking is free everywhere in Olia Speciosa.

• Cala Pira;
• Punta Molentis;
• Santa Giusta;
• Cala Sinzias;
• Porto Sa Ruxi.
